Our Teens Club is aimed at children aged 10+ and offers a range of social activities and events for older children and their siblings. These have included theatre and cinema trips, themed discos, dance sessions, visits to play centres, and much more. The club provides a great opportunity for children to meet others, build friendships, and try new activities.
We usually run one event or outing each term, giving children the chance to get together on a regular basis. All events are either fully or partially subsidised by DSO.
While we welcome children of any age, activities are generally most suitable for those aged 10 and above. As with all DSO groups, families are free to move between social groups depending on what best suits their child with Down syndrome.
